JOPLIN, Mo. — Tuesday, August 1, Joplin Police officers responded to Dairy Queen at 2015 E. 32nd for a report of a found item.

Detectives determined the items originated not far away, from a neighboring restaurant, El Caballo De Oro at 1901 E. 32nd Street. Further investigation revealed the restaurant had been burglarized as the backdoor showed signs of forced entry.

The suspect, Jeffrey D. Hance, 53, of Webb City, was arrested on two active Felony warrants:

JPD submitted charges of Burglary of El Caballo De Oro Mexican Restaurant to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s office who in turn filed official charges on Wednesday.
